My curser moves on its own, opens menus, deletes things
Help, my curser moves around on its own, opens menus, deletes what I'm typing, inserts things on its own. It is impossible to use. What's wrong.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Already saw this, but this doesn't seem to be the issue. The jumpy and erratic behavior occurs even with an external mouse attached. It even took me 10 minutes to type this because the text is often erased or inserted in places I wasn't typing.
