iPhone 4 , headphone problems since iOS 7 upgrade

Hi there, I need help with knowing if Apple will issue an update that sorts my problem, which has developed only since I upgraded to iOS 7.

I have had my phone since October 2012 and I love it. I have several headphones and in-ear buds which I have been using since last Spring/Summer - until updating to iOS 7. Now, my non-Apple accessories will only work at near maximum volume, with all sound checks turned off, otherwise I get just a faint hiss.

I have tried all the usual tricks and tweaks, but there is nothing wrong with any of the devices as they work fine on my two iPads - running iOS 7 and my 3GS running iOS 6.

Yes I have tried pushing it right in.

Yes I have cleaned out the socket.

Yes I have done all kinds of resets, with and without the headphones attached.

Apple, please fix this glitch!

Ben
