Who do you think you are addressing with "please fix it"? Everyone who reads your message is just another user, not Apple. NONE of us can fix it. YOU will have to take action if you want it fixed. YOU must contact Apple or take your phone to an Apple store to resolve the problem. And YOU must read the messages above that describe ways to fix it.

Apr 9, 2014 6:18 AM in response to jin512by Teppei Uesugi,I am experiencing the same thing. I just bought this iPhone 5S ten days ago. The touch ID WAS perfect. Until 3 days ago I updated to IOS 7.1. then the touch ID went into trouble. I doesnt work anymore. I tried deleting, and registering my fingerprint but it doesnt work. It doesnt even respond to my finger placing into the sensor. I tried restarting. Everything doesnt work.
Very disappointing.
Apple, please fix it quickly.

Apr 11, 2014 7:20 PM in response to jin512by Tmurg,I have the same problem, very frustrated! I have deleted old scans of prints and it will not rescan prints, period will not recognize the first step of the scan. I have even reset my phone back to manufacture hoping the new version of iOS was gone (twice), I have erased and restored from iCloud (twice) and still the Touch ID won't work! I got my phone a month before the update and it worked fine. I paid full price for phone so I could have that option. I could have spent less and got the 5c. Unless someone can tell me something else I can do I probably should just return it.

Apr 13, 2014 8:00 AM in response to jin512by rascalmaster, like one of the other posts earlier; i too am in the uk.
my phone worked fine even after 7.1. then today; suddenly; the touch id stopped working.
i cleaned my fingers and the sensor, restarted my phone, rebooted my phone, reset my phone to factory settings and restored it...
but nothing!
:-(
The phone unlock and itunes app store buttons are unchecked, but if I try and click on them it changes to the 'place your finger' screen, i then try to teach my prints- but nothing happens, no buzz or vibration or red marks. On the odd occasion it has buzzed once or twice and i managed to get a couple of red marks on, but then it freezes. I too have deleted the prints and tried again, nothing.
what's going on????
