Q: iTunes loads but it changes the screen resolution to the lowest setting on my computer.
When I checked the new version was for WindowsXP with update 2. I am running windows 7 with update 3. I have removed everything suggested by another member but unfortunately that didn't work. When using iTunes version 10.?, I had no problems at all. With all the problems/issues people are having with this version, I am thinking of selling my iPod and changing to another less expensive and glitchy product.

That one can be a compatibility mode problem. Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):
