Windows 7 on Mavericks not reading my mouse or keyboard

I talked to both apple and mircosoft and they werent much help. Windows 7 appenrtently doesnt recognize usb 3.0 which is why it wont recognize my wired mouse and keyboard but is there a way to get it to read my wireless mouse and keyboard? Windows boots up to the point that it tells me to set-up my account but my mouse and keyboard dont respond and the only way off the screen is to hard reset my computer.
