Odd Behavour with movies in iTune Library

Hi,

Can any one help me? after several months of perfect operation I have started to get odd behavour with my iTV 3, for no reason it keeps pausing the movie which is playing (NOT buffering) it is as though I have pressed the pause button. The iTV is connected to my home network via ethernet cable.

No other symptoms are presented other than the movie stopping as in pause, when I press play again it plays as normal until the next time. I am sure that this is not buffering as the white load bar behind the progress bar is always well ahead of the playing point.

if you have several Apple Remotes or several IR-capable devices in the same room, you may not want your Apple TV to respond to each remote.

Choose Settings > General > Remotes from the Apple TV main menu.

Choose Unpair Apple Remote.

press and hold the Menu and Next/Fast-forward buttons on the white Apple Remote, or hold the Menu and right buttons on the aluminum Apple Remote, for 6 seconds to pair.
