Q: PowerMac G5 Quad wont start up. New HDD
Hi guys
Just purchased a PowerMac G5 and installed a new harddrive as it wasn't supplied with one. I installed a WD Blue 500gb HDD.
I have the original OS X 10.4.8 install discs.
I used a paperclip in the pinhole to open the CD tray as the bluetooth keyboard and mouse wern't working and it booted to the apple screen.
After that it throws up a panic.
"panic(cpu 0 caller 0x002E54BC): Unable to find driver for this plaform: "PowerMac11 ,2".
