Has anyone else had problems backing up to icloud?

I've not been able to backup data to iCloud now for several days. I've backed up my data to my MacBook, but not to iCloud. I go to settings, iCloud, Storage & Backup and click on Backup now. It functions for a few minutes then stops and I get the message "The last backup could not be completed." Anyone else experiencing this?

Hey there 123Luckie,


It sounds like you are unable to complete an iCloud backup. I recommend starting by signing out of your iCloud account:

On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.

Then close all the running apps on the device:


iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.

Swipe the app up to close it.


When you have done that and restart the phone, sign back into your iCloud account and test the issue again:
