Toshiba SSDs in mid-2013 MacBook Airs?

I just got an 11" Air w/ 8GB ram + 256GB SSD from the refurb store. To my dismay, it has the Toshiba SSD in it. It's showing around 500MB write / 600MB read speeds in Black Magic. That's a nasty 20-30% decrease from what the Samsung drives have shown in benchmarks. Not to mention the high failure rate the Toshiba SSDs had in a previous iteration of the Macbook Air.

Anybody else have a Toshiba SSD in a mid-2013 Air? Having googled around a bit, I seem to be one of the only ones. I was expecting either Samsung or SanDisk. Was hoping for Samsung for the speed + reliability. But I would have even preferred SanDisk over Toshiba--at least it does not have the history of reliability problems.

Thanks. If I am indeed the rare person with a Toshiba SSD in a mid-2013 Air, then I probably will return it. But if lots of others also have Toshiba SSDs, then I will likely just keep it. Somebody on another forum suggested that Apple may have accidentally shipped me a 2012 Air, since he thought the 2013 Airs only ever had Samsung or SanDisk SSDs. I'll have to double check when I get home from work.
