I just noticed today that my iMac has two very thin vertical lines going down my monitor. I tried turning it off and back on and the lines remain. Any ideas?

If zapping the PRAM does not work, run Apple Hardware Test and post back the results.

Some of the 2006 Intel iMac models had a problem with lines on their Displays early on in life... There was even an extended warranty program that run for several years, but it has long sense elapsed. If your iMac is more than 6 or 7 years old, it would probably be best to just replace it instead of spending money to have it fixed.
