When loading photos from digital camera, photos go to "dervices" Photos show on screem. Clicking on import results in pop- Saying " photos being imported to iPhoto library" Nothing happens. Using USB connection thru printer. Worked OK in the past. Solution ?

Is your camera battery fully charged?
Have you tried, if connecting directly to a USB port will work better?
Yes, batteries are new. Also tried direct USB connect to computer. Tried seveal times yesterday. Tried again today with connect thru printer. IT WORKED PERFECT. Who knows why computers work in mysterious ways. At any rate thanks for quick response. Natalizia
