Q: I can't find my external hard drive in FCPX

I can't find my external hard drive where I have all my old events and projects. In Finder it shows but not in the latest version of FCPX. I am full updated with FCP and Mavericks

Any Ideas?

Final Cut Pro X, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Try this path:

File>Open Library>Other>Locate

It shows the HD but cannot open it as a library, like it was before the update (not sure if it has to do with update FCP of OX Mavericks)

Take your time and read the above. FCP X will create a new Library comtaining your Projects & Events, but read the above first.

File/Update Projects & Events/Locate

updating the projects was the trick! But as the link above discibed it should have popped up opening FCP after the update the first time, that didn't happen...

Now I can go back to work
