How can I manually remove the Apple mobile device support program from my PC?

iTunes error message MSVCR80.dll missing, so how can I delete the Apple mobile device support program? I've removed all the rest of iTunes except this one, so I am stuck!

Rather than doing any further uninstalls, let's first try updating directly to iTunes 11.1.5.5 using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded directly from the Apple website:


http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/


Does that install go through okay? If so, does that fix the error you were troubleshooting?
