Safari play in the background does not work after upgrading to 7.1

After upgrading to ios 7.1 it does not work to play a movie via safari over airplay. Or actually safari does not work in background at all.

When starting a movie through safari sending it to appletv via airplay, when lockscreen kicks in airplay stops. Or even if i click on homebutton to start another app airplay and safari stops.
