Buying Used FC7 Upgrade Vs. Full Used Retail

Hi Gang

Was wondering if there were any advantages/disadvantages to buying a used '7 Upgrade' for 6 vs. buying a Full Retail used FCP7? I believe a used Upgrade version sells for a bit cheaper on Amazon and Ebay.

Of course the important factor to either purchase is to deal with a Seller who genuinely knows how to De-Activate his software before he sells it to you.

Thank you

As long as it is legit, if you have a prior installation of a full version of FCP and the serial number for that prior installation - then upgrade software will install all the same stuff the full version would install.

That's because it was originally less expensive, and it requires a previous full installation, so it is useful to a smaller market.

There is nothing to de-activate and no procedure to do so.
