I can mirror a movie from my MacBook Air to Apple TV bug I get no sound going through the tv? Any ideas? It works fine with my iPad.

As I am sure you have already noticed, I too am new to the user forums, level 1 with 0 points. However I'm really not "new" to the forums, just never needed to post a question until today. Normally, I can search previously posted questions and find the answer to my problem. After searching through countless posts (most of which did not have replies), and still unable to find an answer to my question (some were similar, but not the same) I thought I would post my question since I would rather spend my time on other more important things. Because isn't that what a support/user forum is for? Especially with ever changing technology. Then I came across this posted question exactly like the one I was going to post, I thought GREAT! YAY!, this means no more searching AND I can fix my audio problem. That is until I read your reply:

"If you are new to user forums it is expected that you will search though the exiting posts to see if a question is already answered before making a redundant post. And this has already been answered more times than any one can count."

So, Mr./Mrs. Level 4 with 1910 points, what would you have said to the same redundant question a year later? Or would you have even bothered? Or would you have once again expressed what new users are "expected" to do, and then go on to express how it peeves you when they don't? Who are you to be dictating what is expected of a new user? You were condescending and disrespectful to someone seeking help with an issue on a forum created to help others.. with their apple issues.
