How can I "merge" itunes to one computer?

Currently I have my apps backed up to one computer and everything else on another. I want to return the apps to the other computer but I am afraid to loose any new purchases. Can anyone help a non tech savvy person?

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

You can transfer iTunes purchases by:
