Q: How do I update my eBook on iBooks?

Hi,

A few months ago, I submitted a book (through iTunes Producer) that's now on iBooks. I working form the ePub2 format.

Now the next version of the book is ready, but I am not seeing what steps need to be followed to update an existing book.

Many thanks in advance!

    Hi VinnyVG,

I don't have an .iba file. I'm working from ePub2.

    Thanks,

Sorry, my fault, opened an email  link to a previous post and  when I closed I saw your post and  forgot which group  it was!!!!

The process you  used to upload your first version - is the same process you use to deliver an update.

I think the delivery process for books is the same for ePubs and  iBooks files created in iBooks Author.

The  delivery process will have created an xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.itmsp file you need to  use this in iTunesProducer to use the same  vendor/author etc,. information and at the start you will be asked if  its a new book or update... select the update and it will have the version  number 1.1.

Apple normally expect the same book cover image ( 1400px minimum width) and now its up to  5 screenshots.
