Preview In Maverick Crashes when searching mutliple opned pdf files

I open mutliple pdf files in a single preview window.

I search for a single key word, the search results populate just fine.

I search for 2 key words, preview crashes.

Searching for 2 key words works on a single pdf file open.

Someone please do verify if this is only me, or if it is inherent bug in Preview.

I also have this problem sometimes if I type the word really fast or really slowly it will work rather than just typing it at a normal pace. Aside from that I have found no fix for this and my only reccomendation would be to save all these pdf files as one and open them in a 3rd party viewer till apple fixes theirs.
