can't delete a shared contact in calendars

I have set up a sheared calender but one of the 5 parties can't make a change. I have gone into the setting and checked (allow editing). When I return to edit calendar it will show all parties can view and edit, I touch done and close ,on reopening it the one contat is view only. Also I cant seem to remove this shared person.
