I recently imported about 50 photos from my iPhone 5 to iPhoto. After selected "remove imported photos", the rest of my 2000 photos and videos in my iPhone became invalid files!!! I'm using iPhoto 9.4.3 Please help!!!!

What are "invalid files"? where are you seeing these? On the phone? Somewhere else?
Dear Terence, all the photo thumbnails appear as blank movie icon like this in the image. They appear like this in
iPhoto too. When I tried to import one of these "blank icon", iPhoto said "Unreadable files. Cannot be imported. The file is in an unrecognized format". I revealed my phone in iTunes and still see that the photos and videos take up half of the storage so I am sure they are still in the phone. Just not sure how to get them out. Thanks in advance for your help.
I'd ask that on the iPhone forum as it seems more like an iPhone issue to me.
