Q: I don't have a Logic Pro serial number

I just purchased Logic Studio V2.1 UPGRADE PRO from a German Apple reseller and I cannot use it because I have to own a previous version of Logic (which makes sense since it's an upgrade).

I never had a previous version before (that's my mistake). I'm using Logic for the fist time and I don't have an old serial number.

Is there something I can do? What are my options?

I really need this software. I'm on a macbook (mid 2007) and I cannot upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

A reseller sold you a product that is no longer for sale for over 6 months? Wow, no shame. And an upgrade box... Yes, you need to get at least an old Logic 5 or later to install this. eBay might be a help. Or you return the product.

Everything worked out fine. I followed your advice and found an older version of Logic on ebay. I've installed the upgrade.

Thank you so much for your time Blueberry, I really appreciate it... Bye!!!
