Messages account "LAB-M01"

I received this popup after adding an email to my Messages account. I haven't any idea what LAB-M01 is, or how I might block it; if I need to.

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

"LAB-M01" refers to the device that has the listed addresses as send/receive addresses for iMessage. It is typically sent out when there is a change to a device on your AppleID. Is this your iPhone's assigned name? (Settings App > General > About to check).

The assigned name of my phone is "Darin iPhone," and the assigned name of my laptop is "DarinMBAir." Nothing is assigned the name LAB-M01.

Not sure what that's about then, but as a precaution, I would change your AppleID password.
