After inserting my ram into the slots, when i turn my imac back on it begins to beep what is happening?
After installing RAM into my iMacs slots and turning it back on it begins to beep, why?
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
Most likely cause is that you have not inserted the chips fully into the slot, it requires some force. Check.
