Problem updating to 7.1
iTunes says I have to do a full install/restore after updating iPhone 4s to 7.1.
iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1

I have fully restored the phone thanks, but I don't see why I can update an iPad over the air with no problems but have to fully restore iPhone 4s when updating to iOS 7.1 through iTunes. Why oh why is nothing straightforward and without time consuming hiccups? but I should have put that moan in my first post.
We aren't here to listen to moaning, we're here for technical support. Updates can and do go wrong, and restoring is the way to fix this. That's why you back up before an update.
