My ipad screen is blue but i fixed it however.. I need help/

I have a nice bump/dent on the side of my ipad. I dropped my ipad and the screen turned blue and well i fixed it thanks to different apple forums however when i tried to put the case on the ipad where the bump is. the screen is distored and went back to being blue again. (so i had to repeat the process). well now my ipad is not a proctector because every time something bumps into it. the color becomes distorted. im out of apply warranty . so what should i do.
