KEYBOARD trackpad not working
Keyboard and trackpad are completely unresponsive on Macbook Pro. Anyone have a quick fix? It keeps trying to connect to a bluetooth keyboard, which we don't have.
MacBook Pro, iOS 7.1

The SMC reset did the trick for me! Was using my MBP when for no reason, my keyboard and trackpad ceased to function. Glad I had my iPad handy to look this post up!
Great, thanks. Readinf this now... is this a common thing? Never heard of this before. Really odd.. Strangely, the mouse works, so that's something, but I don't usually use a mouse. Thanks for the links, will update in a moment
Well, this is even odder... it's started working again. Tried a minute ago, with both trackpads, there was no register of taps or click, but now, it's fine again. This is really bizzare. Thank you guys for the quick response and for the links, I'll make sure I keep this post in case it starts again.
I bought my brand new macbook pro 13" retina for Christmas (2013), and yesterday was the first day I experienced the above issues with my built-in trackpad only. I am able to move the cursor around, but unable to double-click or tap anything. This issue came and went and came back all day long. I chatted online with a tech person who suggested the SMC reset solution, and it worked for my after the 2nd attempt, but is this a permanent fix? we'll see.
