Green enhance text with popping ads

Hi,

I tried to install a game through Pirate Bay. I had never used that website before and some people I know told me it was good (I shouldn't have trusted them). Since the game didn't seem to work correctly, I uninstalled it. Yet, I feel like the game itself or whatsoever has installed something on my mac. I get more ads than I used to + whenever I browse the web, I see some green enhance text and when I put my mouse over it, it shows an ad.

I've tried to find solutions online... tried a couple of them but it doesn't seem to go away. I also installed Avast and ran a full scan: it didn't find anything wrong on my mac.

The problem is still there. I do not have any suspicious extension on Safari.

Is there something I can do to make this go away?

Thank you.
