iPhone 5 updated to 7.1 - Background issues

Hi all,

this is my first post on this board, apologize if it isn't inserted in the right folder.

Just updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7.1 and i'm afraid I shall report my experience which it's not positive.

I was fond of the feature that let me see calendar appointments even in the month view, and that works fine.

But my bottom bar has lost its background as so happened to the folderd I've created. Actually they appear in a dark grey color.

Tryed with different backgrounds (all standard ones) but the behaviour is still there.

The Home screen (with the iPhone in locked state) shows the correct background, but as soon as I receive a notification (email, missed call, What's app...) the background disappear and the grey background color is still there!

My god!

I wish I've never updated it.

Anyone out there experiencing the same issues?
