Help, there is no edit button on contacts

There is no edit button on my contacts, I can't edit existing contacts I can only add new ones on phone app.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your Contacts application. To troubleshoot these issues, let’s force the app to close, and then restart your device:

iOS: Force an app to close

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
