I want to change my ipod from our Mac computer upstairs to the PC in the basement. How do I do that without loosing my songs?

I have an older ipod shuffle. It was originally sinced to the MAC upstairs. I want to add it to my itunes account and sync it to my PC in the basement and not loose my songs.

Copy the library from the Mac to the PC.

Or copy the media from the Mac to the PC and add it to the library you've already got there.
