Icloud control panel installation churns at end

My icloud control panel installation gets to the end where it's copying files and appears to churn, using almost all CPU, but not really accomplishing anything

Any ideas?

iPhone 4, Windows XP, iCloud sync Outlook 2010 cont, cal
