OS X Lion (10.7) on Macbook 4,1?

I can I get OS X Lion (10.7) on Macbook 4,1? I'm aware Mountain Lion is out the questison and mavricks since its a early 2008 model but what about Lion. And if so, will it be worth it to get or should i just leave well enough alone with my Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
