Remote management for iPad?

I have owned an iPad 2 since it was first came out and then I moved on to the iPad Air when it came out. I am a pretty tech saavy person and everyone in my family considers me to be the IT guy. With that being said, my dad is going to India this summer to see his parents and he is taking a iPad Mini with him so everyone who hasnt seen them in a while can facetime them. My question is, my grandparents are completely illiterate when it comes to technology and I was wondering if there was any Apple certified software that I could use to remotely connect to the iPad Mini in India from here and manage it. I have seen the Apple Configurator app on the Mac App Store but I am not sure if that will do what I am trying to do with it. Any help is appreciated.
