Q: What is an iPad mini retina with model A1517?

Can anyone verify there is a Model A1517 for iPad Mini with Retina Display Wifi+4G? T-Mobile lists this model as the only version available for its 200mb free montly data for life. There are video on Youtube showing people with Model A1490 working with the offer, but I couldn't get it to work.

Sprint may only sell certain models

It's not unknown for a retailer to have a special deal on models they want to move or ones they get special bargains on from the manufacturer
