Different sizes Contactpictures between iPhone and iPad

Pictures i assigned to an Contact appear to large on the iPad while the iPhone does display it proberly. If i change the picture for any contact on my iPad it´s the other way around.

So, if i change a Profilepicture on the iPhone the Head fits the Circle perfectly, on the iPad that same Contact / Picture the Head is cut off.

This seems like an Bug since it came with iOS 7.1?! Does somebody else have this issue?

Both iPad (3rd gen) and iPhone 5 are running iOS 7.1 and sync everthing through iCloud
