Error with Installer on OSX 10.7.4

I am running Mac OSX 10.7.4 on a Macbook Air Origninal 2008 model. I am trying to install the Alchemy Player for my garage band, and it's a .pkg file. But for some reason, I am getting an error that reads "The operation could not be completed (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)" I have read up on this error, and all I can find is an Apple Software Installer Update 1.0 for OS X 10.6.8 on google. I can't install it to make it work, because I am running 10.7.4. I would very much appreciate some help on this problem, i will leave a screenshot so you can see exactly what my problem error looks like. I hope someone can help me! Thank you!
