I've updated my iPad mini and iPhone 5s to 7.1 and now neither one will sync to iTunes. The phone is not recognized at all and the iPad only shows up through WiFi, but will not sync. Neither item is recognized on the computer through the USB connection. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue with an iPhone 5 with iTunes on Windows. Phone and iTunes are both latest versions. Rebooted everything, tried a different cable. No dice.
Exactly the same issue, devices stop syncing after iOS 7.1 upgrade, in particular my iPhone 5 stopped syncing
Have the same problem here. iPhone 5 was updated to ios 7.1 and synced with iTunes 11.1.5 (5) on Mavericks 10.9.2 without any problems, however, after an update of my iPad to ios 7.1 I cannot connect to iTunes neither via cable (the same cable, btw), nor via WiFi.
