I have just recieved my i phone 4 from US unlocked, but i cant put a sim card in it as there is no slot! how can i use this phone in Europe without a sim? please help!!!

Sounds like you got a CDMA iPhone 4. You can't use it with your GSM carrier in Europe.
Confirm that it really does not have a SIM slot:

If it doesn't, then it would seem that you erroneously purchased a Verizon-model iPhone, which can only be used with Verizon. Return the iPhone for a refund and buy a GSM model. You'll need an unlocked model or one locked to the carrier you wish to use, and getting a phone that is truly unlocked can be difficult when dealing with used devices as many sellers lie.
