My iPhone isn't connecting to iTunes but apps like iPhoto are working perfectly. It's charging but it says "the device is not connected". iPhone 4s and MBA 11' 2012.

So, I restored my iPhone because I had too many things on it and after about a day after restoring it I wanted to sinc my music and podcasts but when I connected I waited about 2-3 minutes and a window popup and says "the device is no longer connected" but the iPhone is charging and apps like iPhoto are working perfectly.

I want just my music on my phone.. I tried with an iPhone 4 w/ same cable and same laptop and it worked and with an iPad Air.
