My off switch is not working - since updating to 7.1

iPhone 5 just updated to 7.1, since then the on/off button (also sleep/wake button) does not work.

Anybody else having the same issue?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.2

Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. If still problem, and there is Warranty or AppleCare, make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution. If no coverage use Assistive Touch in Accessibility of Settings App.

Thanks ... didn't exactly fix the problem though.

Problem is still occuring randomly, which makes me think it might be a hardware issue.that indicates software....

However, it's only been happening since I updated to 7.1, so that points towards a software issue.

Will wait a few days before going to Apple, so if anyone has other possible fixes please share them!

I have the same problem.

To pop my phone into sleep mode the top button requires multiple presses or to be held - it seems to vary, ultimately the button (due to the 7.1 software update not the hardware) does not work as it used to.

A bit disappointing and hopefully a fix will be brought about soon.
