I just installed 7.1 11D167 on my iphone.
When I connect my iphone to my mac running 10.6.8, iphoto opens but it doesn't pick up the new pictures on the phone.
I ran software update for the Mac running 10.6.8 and rebooted.
I also rebooted the phone.
Are u connected to wifi?
I'm connecting with a usb cable.
Have you got PhotoStream opened on both devices? if so if the phone is on wifi, pictures on the phone should appear in PhotoStream on the computer.
I don't have the app called photostream on my Mac.
Photo stream is part of iPhoto on the Mac. Please search the Apple web site for how to use iPhoto. Also do a search on this site.t
it doesn't pick up the new pictures on the phone.
What do you mean by it?
Have you launched iPhoto with the iPhone connected? What do you see when you do?
What version of iPhoto are you using?
Similar problem connecting to a Windows PC with no Apple software on it. iPhone keeps asking to Trust This Computer? and the Scanner and Camera Wizard fails. It worked last week before I updated the iPhone.
There is not a feature called photostream in the version of iphoto (9.2.3) I have installed.
I don't use icloud.
When I connect the iphone to the mac mini via the usb cable, iphoto opens.
However, iphoto doesn't recognize any new photos on the iphone and pictures don't transfer.
And this worked prior to the latest iphone upgrade.
Run Disk Utility and repair disk permissions. Then try again.
I ran repair disk permissions and it still doesn't work.
As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Connect the iPhone and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
Yes, the same issue exists if I create a new library.
I see the phone listed under device in iphoto but new photos do not show up.
One last test to determine if the problem is limited to your account or if it's computer wide: log into another user account on your Mac and try to import into a library there.
