Q: how do i retrieve the admin user password for my macbook pro using my apple id

i recently changed the admin user password on a shared MBP but now cannot sign in. i am very certain i am inputting the correct password but a window appears with my appropriate word hint and states that "if you forgot your password, you can... ...redet it using your Apple ID"

where in apple id can i do this?
