iMessages Inactive on Mac

It worked for a little while, now my iMessage account shows as "(inactive)". Any ideas?

Hi,


Have you tried the Details Button and the Sign Out option in side ?

(IN Mavericks the Sign Out Button is on show on the first pane)


If you can, do so then Quit the app.

On restarting re-add your apple ID info ?


If you sign in here by using the Manage option is you Apple ID verified ?
