I can no longer delete ANY apps from my 4S iPhone, either directly by holding the icon & clicking the "x" or via iTunes & clicking the "remove" button, which is grayed out, even when the app is highlighted.
Am I missing something? or is this "a feature"?

Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and see if "Deleting Apps" is set to disallow

You'll get more and better assistance if you start a new thread with your question. I suggest you start a new question that gives a good title to a specific problem. Then in the body of the thread describe the problem in detail, tell us what steps you have tried so far to correct the problem, what happened, and what error messages you received.
