iOS 7.1 killed the facebook app? Battery Life Worse too

Ever since I updated to 7.1 the Facebook app has been crashing immediately upon opening.

Also, battery life is even worse than before...

Anyone else?

iPhone 5, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Apple is not responsible for the FaceBook app or any other 3rd party app. App developers are the primary testers for iOS update BETA versions before being released.

In regards to the FB app, any change after a reset which is similar to a computer restart?

Since I updated to 7.1 my iPad has been flat 3 times after being left with at least 50% charge within 8 hours. Why is it discharging? This problem was in the Daily Mail yesterday. It needs sorting, yet Apple haven't even aknowledged it and stupid people on this forum dismiss it as wear and tear or a user error. 7.1 is the problem.
