how do I get my Appleworks 6 files converted to an intel Mac pro running mavericks??

Hi,

Some can be imported into Pages, etc, but many will have to be exported in AW6 to some other format that can be read.

Try the latest version of LibreOffice. It can open many, but not all, types of AppleWorks & ClarisWorks documents.
