Wanted: The Pin Drop Map that showed locations of pictures taken

this was my favorite feature of the phone, it was taken away with the OS.7, its the only reason i stay with the brand, if the map is gone, well then

Yes!

That's the idea ... once you click the ">", the map appears!

Your screen shot map shows basically the entire U.S. The area shown on the map would depend on the distance between where the photos were taken. For example, if they were taken in opposite ends of the country, the country might be displayed as in your screen shot. But if they were taken within two or three blocks, only those blocks would be displayed.

thank you for your patience, i can now see the map,

any way to get it back to pin drops? the photos dont look as impressive. when i click on United states it shows pictures instead of pin drops, but the map is covered by 4-5 pictures

The picture above was a screen shot off my phone, when people try telling me all about how great their phone is simply show them my map & they usually stop pushing

Features evolve. No, I don't know any way to show only pins, nor to group all the photos together. Try having a computer intervene. If you have a Mac, you could try using iPhoto to build one event (or album) that show all the photos. But I don't think there is any way to revert to the old pins.
