i have a pc and when i hook up my ipod or iphone it no longer takes me to itunes, ANy ideas?

i had an iphone 4 and just got an iphone 5c. last week before i upgraded, my ipod and iphone stopped connecting directly to itunes. how do i reset my pc for this to work
