iTunes bug shows previously deleted podcast episodes... AGAIN!

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone else had this issue? When Apple first released iTunes 11 there was a bug where they showed all episodes of podcasts. It showed all of the currently downloaded episodes and all episodes that had previously been deleted.

Apple fixed it in the next release and it's now come back again!

I'm able to reproduce it like this:

1) In iTunes, select "Podcasts" in the left column.

2) Select all ("Apple"-A or Edit -> "Select All")

3) Choose "Apple"-I to "Get Info"

4) In the "Multiple Item Information" window select the "Options" tab.

5) Set Volume to max (+100%), Equalizer Preset to "Spoken Word" and "Media Kind to "Podcast"

6) Click on "OK"

When bugs like this reoccur it makes me wonder if they do any regression testing there!

This bug won't prevent me from using my iPod but it's very annoying and frustrating since it had been fixed and now came back! ACK!

I sent this information to Apple via their "Black Hole" of feedback. But, I'll also give it to some friends who work there in the hopes they can get it to the right group.

Thanks!

Larry.
